Scam emails are being sent to businesses pretending to come from intellectual property solicitors, falsely claiming someone has applied for exclusive rights to the business’s name and offering trademark services. The messages misuse the identities of real solicitors and a real law firm, and are sent from fraudulent email addresses linked to “agecroftlegalservices.com.”
