Red flags –  

Scam emails are impersonating Martin-Kaye LLP, instructing recipients to pay deposits for residential conveyancing or to confirm fund availability, often providing fraudulent bank account details. The emails come from addresses with a slight domain alteration (@martinsco.uk) and in one case include the phone number 01952 525 967.

“Cloning” means they copy a real law firm’s website, or identity, sometimes verbatim. To the untrained eye, the copy can look as real as the genuine website they are copying.
