The public has been alerted to emails falsely claiming to be from Jade Alison Saward, requesting recipients to transfer money to a trust account for legal fees related to a remortgage. These emails, sent from jas@charles-colesman.com, misuse the name, SRA ID 446995, and address of a genuine solicitor and firm, and reference the website www.charles-coleman.com
and the postal address 28 Beaumont Road, Windsor, Berks SL4 1JP.

“Cloning” means they copy a real law firm’s website, or identity, sometimes verbatim. To the untrained eye, the copy can look as real as the genuine website they are copying.
