The public has been given notice of a fraudulent letter is circulating that misuses the name Erik Eberhart and the details of Clarke Willmott LLP, claiming an “unclaimed Payable on Death account” worth £11.5 million. It uses the firm’s logo, lists 5 St Helen’s Place, London, EC2A 6AB, and directs recipients to the scam email erikeberhart7@gmail.com.
