Bogus websites (warcuplaw.co.uk and warcuplaw.com) and emails are impersonating a genuine law firm, listing fake “legal advisers” and misusing the firm’s SRA ID, postal addresses, and contact details. Fraudulent emails from addresses such as johnmorgan@warcuplaw.co.uk offer fund recovery services, falsely claiming to be from the firm’s “financial lawyers” and “lead attorneys.”

“Cloning” means they copy a real law firm’s website, or identity, sometimes verbatim. To the untrained eye, the copy can look as real as the genuine website they are copying.
