Scam emails from [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]
are impersonating a genuine solicitor and law firm, claiming recipients may inherit from a deceased individual’s estate. The emails misuse the solicitor’s and firm’s names to appear authentic.
“Cloning” means they copy a real law firm’s website, or identity, sometimes verbatim. To the untrained eye, the copy can look as real as the genuine website they are copying.
